I'm actually not a big fan of high school or stepbrother romances. For some reason, this book got my attention and I decided to give it a try. This is my first book by Jenika Snow and I really enjoyed it. R & R loved each other and I'm glad that they waited until they were both of age to act on it. I think what helped this not become a "step" issue is that we didn't have to read about their life together as children. Rebel was a dirty talking alpha male and Rosie was the innocent who tamed him.Product details

Painkiller is a short and hot little read. Rebel is the hot bad boy and Rosie is a little nerdy but a real cutie. They became step-siblings when they we're 6 but they have never felt like brother and sister. They both are in love with each other but are afraid how relationships will change if they let their feelings known. Now that they are 18, they are tired of hiding their feelings from each other. Can they be accepted? Will their parents put a halt to their love? You have to read this little gem to find out. =D
I enjoyed this short sexy romance. I guess you could say this book had a bit of everything. Painkiller is a stepbrother story that also fits into the new adult niche. For the record this book is an entertaining read that had me captivated from the first page.
The bad boy and good girl scenario never fails to grab my attention. I so loved Rebel and Rosie together. They’re step siblings who were secretly in love with each other but were afraid to admit to their feelings and ruin their friendship. Then something sets them off and they finally open up to each other by instigating some very hot sex scenes. The author enlivened the plot by throwing in a psycho and a requisite mean girl to stir up some drama.
Once again, Jenika Snow delivered a steamy read that captured all of my attention. I had a strong feeling about the characters and wanted everyone to accept their relationship. Rosie refused to let her fears hold her back and I loved it when she stood up to the jealous mean girl. Rebel was a super sweet book boyfriend. I loved how he protected Rosie period. I loved this fast paced romance and would recommend it to all romance lovers.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a short but loving book. I love Rebel and even though he is a bad boy he is still sweet a heart.

Another HOT and STEAMY awesome book by Jenika Snow. This is one that you don't want to miss. I would recommend this to everyone to read.
I liked this book. It was so sweet. I loved how rebel and Rosie knew what they wanted and once they got over their fear of rejection, their relationship took off.
It was quick, a little taboo-ish, sweet and hot. With a little bitch drama and danger from psycho. Loved Rebel and Rosie together. Another great book by Jenika. I really liked it.
